ComputerBank Illawarra is open every Friday between 10am and 3pm to accept your old or unwanted computers. We accept desktop and notebook computers whether they are working or not. If they have "blown up" there are usually some useable parts that we can salvage from them.

We accept computers from Pentium III upwards, if you have an old 8088 machine then you are better off donating it to a museum as there would not be much that we could do with it.

We do not accept old fax machines, TVs, stereos, mobile phones, or kitchen appliances. Computers are what we are interested in.

We do not accept Macintoshes, but if you have an old Mac or two, let us know and we will try and find a home for it rather than see it go for scrap.

Or, if you are a business that is doing a major upgrade and are wondering what to do with your old hardware, we would love to hear from you. Previously we have accepted up to 100 cpu boxes from large organisations that were doing a major upgrade.
